Indeed summer is drawing to its end and definitely I might say how active I have been. However my summer is no match to what this guy did or planned to do on summer. (You have to watch the video so you can get it, and also for a little laugh)
Ok..so maybe my summer wasn't as cool as what he said (especially about the whole guys shopping for bikinis bit, [wtf?!]), and honestly, my summer wasn't really cool at all..temperature wise. I never really did catch any beach waves or summer breeze all summer long. I guess the last time I went to the seas was when I was 15 years old or so. If I were to go to the beach today, I might look like this:
I'd look just like Hayley if I were to go to the beach right now and with my swimming clothes on. I'd look just like her minus the red hair, the boobies, and the pretty face of course as everyday goes by I just keep getting white and pale. I'd be definitely the palest bloke in the beach.
Summer has definitely been about football with Koreans, and the message of The Roots' song Seed 2.0 and that is: Push my seed in her push for life.
Oh yeah, on the month of April, I heard a great idea. Seriously carla, I'm committed to what we plan to do.
This may just be the most pointless post I've written here. I actually did it just for the video. Lol. However for now, I need some painkillers.

For now, my polaroid cameras (yes I have two polaroid cameras and I got them at an 80% or so discount) are relics or vintage treasures (to make it sound better) unless a new company manufactures instant films that are compatible with Polaroid cameras.
Well good news, I'm gonna be adding some photos here then since I'm going digital.
Though I still think digital sucks. There's no art in digicams. Digicams are just like televisions. It's also an idiot box that turns you into a camera whore this time.
Suddenly it makes sense again. In no haze of mindfulness, staring down at this snow-covered quilt of America, I am the stars exploding. Voice shot down to hell, half sick, half recovered, alive and well and ready. The unknown for now will remain as such and in this moment that feeling is not one of suspension. It is the hopeful unknown. Reaching into the future could only be good now as the past is wrapping itself in ribbons and pleasant packing paper, rarely to be revisited. These years of heaven and hell in the belly of mortality's wait. This fierce time of self-doubt and confidence cracked. The vice/void solutions and dissolution of honor. Tracking along some dirt path to a forest of dead things where clearly I missed the 'no outlet' sign upon entry. All of this and somehow I have returned in a step-retrace for the record books. Fear is failing me now. Hope hides beneath fresh snow somewhere nearer sea level than I, at thirty three thousand feet, Michigan bound, by way of Chicago. But planes land and so do I, and suns rise, melting away the grounds cool protection. I am finally free, if only for this moment. And should that be the case, then know that I am throwing a parade in first class as I speak. Art has again saved my life, my love and me. What next? Who really cares? Certainly a toast will be in order. Make mine a double.
amazing words taken from jacksmannequin.com
Wow..it's 2 months since the last time I wrote something in here and those 2 months were really something. In those two months, I got to go to a country where MSG is never scarce on your food, I got to go to a concert where the designated attire is black and make-up, I got the chance to have some spare time with the people in Taft outside of Taft (i think that doesn't make any freakin' sense), I went to several recitals and plays that had really ignited my grenade called creativity, and other several events that I somehow can't remember. So many things, though not much time to talk about it nor the relevance of talking about it. Maybe next time. Oh yeah, in those two months I witnessed a Russian goddess win her 3rd Grand Slam title, my artist of the year last year having rumors about disbanding but never did came to that conclusion, and my song of the year last year will not be followed by the ones who wrote it as they decide to take a break. I'm not really a part of those things as I only watched it thru the vehicle called "media" though they are significant for me.
Another thing to add..it's kinda funny how people would get mad at you for no reason at all. I mean they even took the time and the effort to get mad at you though their reason is really not that at all valid or even making sense. Then they ask me why am I laughing? Lol. That's why I'm better than most of you.
next time i'll post something relevant like how i will save opm or even destroy it completely. opm is bound to be put in some place else than where it is today. and also why i envy a certain ms. gonzalez.
I blame the academy for my lack of existentialism for the past 3 years. I blame the academy for the lack of existentialism of my creativity. I blame the academy for making sense to the word "overrated".
...now time for some sweetness:
until next time,

*currently packing my luggage as i'm off to HK tomorrow morning. :)
What's great about this trip is that I can finally consider it as a vacation. For two years, I've been gone to a bunch of countries and I used it as a getaway from all of the stress and miseries. For others, they turn to alcohol or other vices to get rid of their problems temporarily, but for me, I prefer to get away from it by literally going away from it temporarily and that's going abroad. It's been like a rehab for me when I go abroad, a chance to be relieved from hardships, and that's why I kept longing for it in those two years. But now, everything seems fine. No more hassles in school politics, barkada politics, and especially lady politics. Finally, time to enjoy abroad. :)
This is the real benefit of having 4 day class schedule. Long weekends mean more chances to go abroad. :)
I'm planning to buy a fisheye camera when I get to HK. I just love toy cameras.
If you have a fisheye camera, then f*ck you!...no just kidding.
cheers to your lives,

isn't soulja boy famous for one thing? he's just famous for the dance isn't he, and not for his music at all? anyways, i'd put this in 'coz it's been a while since i saw travis bang the drums. just imagine the cymbals are your face. LOL
maybe the next time i put a post about soulja boy, it'll be me dancing it or something. whatever.
don't bother adding me up here coz i really don't get the social network thingy online. if you're my friend, then i guess i get to see you most of the time so there's no use in adding up friends. and btw, since it's 2008, everything's available to access. no more privacy. LOL.
and if you're looking for pics of me don't bother either. just check my friends' multiply accounts. im sure there are some pics of me there.
and if you're wondering why i used vox rather than multiply, its just 'coz multiply is too pinoy for me. f*ckin a..
greetings of peace,

This post was inspired by my friends over at PD. =)
My picks are based on my own perspective. They're there because I like them. The ranking are based on how much I liked the albums. F*ck all the critics because they're only good for holding d*cks. ;)
Top 10 Albums of 2007
10. Silverchair - Young Modern
Awesome songwriting by Daniel Johns in this record. He sounds articulate, and handsome at the same time. What I actually enjoyed in this record is their use of various instruments other than hard drums and guitars with distortion. Their music video for "If You Keep Losing Sleep" is A-R-T! check it out!
Standout tracks: Straight Lines, Waiting All Day, If You Keep Losing Sleep, Reflections of A Sound
9. Cartel - Cartel
It actually took a while before I got to enjoy this album and I just don't know why. Nonetheless, it still a good album though compared to their previous effort, it lacks the speed and pop punk style. Though they stretch their sound by using pianos, some brass horns, and some drum loops. Their collaboration with Wyclef is ace as well!
Standout tracks: Lose It, I Will Hide Myself Away, Radioheadish, Wasted
8. Eisley - Combinations
What's not to love about the voices of the DuPree sisters? I actually fell in love with this band because of their use of the piano (I'm such a sucker for piano). Compared to their previous album, they don't sing like they're singing lullabies anymore and I think that's their most positive progress. Good vocals + piano = good music! If only UpDharmaDown realize that they have that potential. Oh well. Combinations is good.
Standout tracks: Go Away, I Could Be There For You, A Sight To Behold, Combinations
7. Paramore - RIOT!
Just listen to the album to know what is good about the album, what I'm going to say is the bad of it. I dunno, it seemed like they took a step backward from their debut album All We Know is Falling. Their debut album sounded more mature and more raw unlike in RIOT!, Hayley's lyrics seemed like ordinary anthems for 13 year old girls. This album is great while driving and blasting it loud on your car's stereos as you try hard to keep up with Hayley's vocal chords. Though everything is actually better with the windows up. They still do put on a helluva show playing live.
Standout tracks: For A Pessimist,... , That's What You Get, When It Rains, and all of the bonus songs from the repackaged release.
6. The Used - Lies For The Liars
The Used is still the Used. I actually don't know why people keep saying that their debut album is better than all of their releases when they all sound the same. Feldmann does a good job once again producing this album and Butterworth provided a good effort with the drums, though Steineckert (played the drums in the first two albums of the Used) is still better in my opinion. You'll like this album if you like the Used. Period. (What sucks is I gave a copy of this album to a person who became a disappointment. Crap.)
Standout tracks: Pretty Handsome Awkward, Earthquake, Smother Me
5. Motion City Soundtrack - Even If It Kills Me
Finally, Justin Pierre sings about something other than drugs and alcohol. For me, this album is all about relationships and dealing with it in the perspective of a real man. The drums and synth standout just like Pierre's lyrics in this album. I love MCS because beautiful people listen to them. LOL. I miss that kid. One last sentence I can think of commenting on the album is life's not all about drugs and alcohol...sex is also important. ;)
Standout tracks: Fell In Love Without You, It Had To Be You, Last Night, Calling All Cops
4. The Starting Line - Direction
Standout tracks: Direction, Island, Hurry, Need To Love
3. Yellowcard - Paper Walls
From start to finish, this album completely blew me away. This album certainly brought out the teenager in me. Fast drums, hard guitar solos, VIOLIN! (i'm a sucker for strings too), and Ryan Key's voice all reminded me of High School because that's when Ocean Avenue came out. In this album, it feels like Ocean Avenue once again but faster and harder. Their drummer is just sick! Though what I felt lacking about this album is violin solos. There should've been more of that stuff.
Standout tracks: Fighting, Light Up The Sky, The Takedown, Keeper, Dear Bobbie
2. Jimmy Eat World - Chase This Light
It's JEW..nuff said.
Standout tracks: Big Casino, Carry You, Here It Goes, Let It Happen
1. Angels And Airwaves - I-Empire
I guess everything that Tom, Mark, and Travis release I'll have it as my number one. Though what's more to say about this album is that it has this certain message that I do get what Tom is saying. It's about doing what you want and make your own life experience. This certainly links up with the principles that I hold on to especially existentialism.
Standout tracks: Call To Arms, Love Like Rockets, Secret Crowds, Rite Of Spring
